We're just across from the showers which are very clean. / since we only found out this week that the Cariboo Valley Road was closed during the week because of logging, this is the only campground we found.

TEMPERATURE Too hot

In June we found out that the Cariboo Valley Road was good and the bridges redone (except for the last one, 0,5 miles from the trail). We were supposed to do Spaulding & Sugarloaf one week, and then do a 3 day backpack for the rest the next week. But then, one week ago we find out the the road is closed Monday to Friday because of logging. Have to change our plans.Left : yellow line. First to Spaulding, then to Sugarloaf

TOTAL TIME  10h15 mins! (very slow) I'm still seeing double and take off my hr monitor after a couple of hours because it's just giving me crazy readouts like the 221 yesterday. I take the strap off because it's hot and uncomfortable.

TEMPERATURE Too hot again, but some very light showers just enough to cool us down a little. Do hear thunder at times.

up Abol and Hunt, down Hunt and Abol. Notice the switch backs replacing the lower part of the slide since 2014-2016. They say it's easier than the scrambling, but I think it's more cardio although less technical..

(I'm ok the next morning) and the Pharmacist says that my Effexor may well be giving my trouble with my cardio. / I'm really proud to have finished these hikes this year, even if it was more difficult than it should have been.
