Added quite a few push-ups in the vinyasas, but
only did 2 shorter bridges (Tony calls them wheels, but in french they are
bridges.. "le pont") than last time. I felt better coming out of the
yoga than before starting it. Gabriel used up over 700 calories in this same
routine, yet I worked as hard as I could. How can I lose weight burning so
few calories?
Note : My early-morning resting HR is probably still around 47..
during the day, around 57-66.

I found this very hard last week, but I'm still turning it up a notch by
wearing a 10 lbs pack sac today. : I definately needed 5
secs pauses between exercises, but it was good. replaced the
"hot foot" exercise with jogging and wore a headband like
yesterday during the hike, it really helps not to have to
towel down all the time.

Getting Rid Of Soreness |
Getting rid of soreness....
I know those first couple
weeks of P90X can be tough for some
people. The soreness can be pretty
intense.
Pat Morency, who is a
sports injury specialist and works with
Olympians...recommends hot and cold
showers to reduce soreness.
Take a hot shower for 2
minutes, then turn on the cold and let it
run for 30 seconds. Repeat the process 5
to 10 times.
As you switch from hot to
cold water, the blood vessels will open
and close, flushing lactic acid-which
causes muscle soreness-out of the muscles.
Other treatments for
soreness: ice right afterwards, heat day(s)
following, massage, and
anti-inflammatories such as Advil and
Tylenol.
