I still start doing the head stand instead of the Crane but have time to try it and put my knees near my elbows so it doesn't tear on my skin and I manage to stay in crane for 4-5 secondes.. that's a good start! Very tired at the end so I skip the last few minutes of easy stretching and relaxation.

Last time we went was October 8th 2006

So it was very different from the automn hike we'd done. Beautiful sunny day. not many hikers. some flies and such but not enough to bother us. The new trail from "la petite ourse" to the " accueil" at the end of our round trip goes along a stream for about 5 km. Very pleasant.

Check out all the hikes from my Wish List. According to this book there is one hike that is closed at the end of July and 2 that we have to be in groups of 4 or more because of the Grizzlys.  but have alot more reading to do.

 

Rapala 50 lbs Mechanical Scale

I buy it to weigh my pacsac before hikes.. OK we can do it with an ordinairy scale by putting the pac on our back and subtracting the difference of our weight but this is much better and not expensive, and we can bring it in the car to weigh other's pac sacs when we meet up for a hike. I'm planning to take it on our trip.

Push-ups : Do 30 reg + 10 reg + 12 knee push-ups in the first  set. First time that I do more than 20 in a set. OK.. make that first time in over 25 years . And this is the last time I do this WO in the program but I'm already thinking about the next versions of P90X .. this summer and in september.

It's interesting to do legs tonight.. since I'm
going hiking tomorrow.. it'll be like a bigger hike. I pinched a muscle moving a piece of furnichure at work while bending over a box.. dumb.. It's really not that bad, but just enough not to be at my max.  Hiking will be good tomorrow for my lower back..
